A Bridge to Simple Squeezes
Julian Laderman

The goal of this book is to enable any intermediate player to have the pleasure of executing simple squeeze. This book develops a structured approach to squeeze execution with threat cards playing the central role.

When declarer first sees dummy, the threat cards should serve as a catalyst for declarer to consider a squeeze. The first chapter is entirely devoted to the recognition and appreciation of threat cards.

Take a deck of cards and try to form hands for North, East, South and West where a squeeze can be executed by South. If after 10 minutes you are still shifting cards, THIS IS THE PERFECT BOOK FOR YOU!

Letters to the Editor of The Bronx Journal

I have been reading with great interest the bridge column written by Professor Julian Laderman.
My friends and I meet once a week to play bridge and truly enjoy Mr. Laderman’s column.
He is certainly a master and writes so clearly.

Dorothy Mandorf

Just a word of congratulations on the simply wonderful column written by Dr. Laderman.
My mother and her friends tell me they have learned quite a lot from the column.
As for myself, I must confess that I don’t have the time I need to really get into the game,
but I thoroughly enjoy Dr. Laderman’s elegance in writing this column.
